Transport Report: We were represented at the latest Cowal Transport Forum held on Monday 24th November 2025. A long discussion took place on the inconectivity of public transport mainly boats and trains, it was stated that this really came about when Scot Rail  started changing the trains which in turn  Cal-Mac had to change their times and this lead to disconnection of the local buses. It was asked that to follow both the  and UK Government and the LLTNP wishes that we become carbon neutral it would help if the WCM services met up with the Citylink buses at Cairndow. It was agreed this discussion could only conclude if Argyll and Bute Councils Public Transport Officer was present at this meeting as WCM can only do what their contract with ABC allows It is unfair to raise all our grievances with WCMs Neil Stewart.

Also raised was White lining throughout Cowal, flooding @ Lock Eck, lorries going in the ditches on the A815

A.O.C.B.: A member of the public reported the Kilfinan CC minutes of 28th October had an item "Re Powering of Strachur Windfarm" which suggested they intend to ask for a "share of community benefits". The agenda for their 25th November also mentioned a meeting about this. Kirstie said that no communication on this matter has been received. As Strachur has no Windfarm yet. we believe Kilfinan CC maybe talking about the Cruach Mhor Windfarm at Glendaruel. Kirstie will check with the Kilfinan CC Convener on this matter.

20 MPH zones William raised about the 20MPH zone being implemented throughout out Argyll and asked if we could check about the ones we proposed for the C56 in the Strachur CC area. Kirstie will write to the Roads Department.
