Health Report: today the Scottish NHS app launces where you will find all your Health and Social Care information you need to go MyCare.scot or nhsinform.scot/mycare and follow the online instructions there is to be a proper launce in May 2026 when the Newly elected MSPs return for the start of the next parliamentary session. You will be able to review you NHS Appointments, Health and Care Record, Allergies, repeat and Short term prescriptions and vaccination record. Kirstie was asked if this is an opt in service or an opt out service she said she would check and get back to everyone.
CTAC services as most of us will have to travel to Dunoon for these services I have enquired if those that will have to use community transport can claim the money back for this like you can for Hospital appointments I have been told NO as this is classed as a "Primary Care Function" myself and the other Public representatives to the ABC HSPC IJB are taking this forward as it could limit essential tests for those in need. Concerns were raised about access to the service if you cannot get to Dunoon and it was believed this is a health inequality not to have reasonable access to primary care functions. Kirstie will go back to the HSPC and ask that this is looked at again and ask that they reconsider the very limited 2 hours of CTAC that is to be available in the Strachur surgery even if it means they have to hire the village hall for this function.
