Knitting, sewing, quilting, and all things textiles….
Have you ever thought you’d like to know how to knit a scarf, turn up a pair of trousers, crochet a hat or recycle a favorite garment into something else such as a rug, to sew on a button or even how to read a pattern? Well, if you have and would like someone to show you how, come along and find out.
Seven sessions covering a variety of topics including sewing, quilting, rug making using recycled textiles, crocheting, knitting and embroidery will be taking place over the summer months. There will be demonstrations and the chance to try out all the above with one-to-one instruction available if needed. All materials will be provided, and you’ll be able to take away anything you have made.
The number of places available will be restricted and will not be suitable for those under 12 years of age. Anyone under 16 will need to be accompanied by a participating adult.
The workshops will be held at the Pavilion on Wednesday evenings on the following dates between 7pm – 9 pm: 1st, 15th & 29th June, 13th & 27th July, 10th & 24th August
