A Story, a Pie and a Pint is back! Please join Shona Cowie and Stewart Ennis for a delightful evening of fun, food and stories.

Shona Cowie - Shona is dedicated to living heritage and bringing front and centre, those who have been pushed aside in the telling of our stories.

Based on the west coast, traditional Storyteller and participatory artist Shona Cowie has led a broad International career with diverse audiences. After training with The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and L’Ecole Jacques Lecoq Shona spent time as a children’s Docent in the Musee du Louvre, she founded story-education company Fosforo in Sao Paulo Brazil and travelled with her collective Senza across Europe and Tunisia to research and platform stories of Mediterranean migration.

Since 2018 she has been working with European leaders in Applied Storytelling, The Village Storytelling Centre, with whom she became one of Glasgow’s 23 Artists In Residence and where her work with young people was awarded by the Scottish Civic Trust.

Stewart Ennis - Stewart Ennis was born in 1961 in Bridge of Weir. After leaving school, he worked for a short time as a journalist before training as an actor at East 15 Acting School in London, and later at the Ecole Philippe Gaulier.

Since 1986 he’s worked with some of the most exciting theatre companies in Scotland, including; The National Theatre of Scotland, Communicado, Visible Fictions, Rapture Theatre, Roughcast, S.D.G, The Tron, The Arches, Hullabaloo, ConFab, Giant, Reeling & Writhing, Dundee Rep, Right Lines, TAG ; and further afield, Theatre Sans Frontiers in Northumbria, Theatre Urubaru in Finland and Tinderbox Theatre in Belfast.
