Strachur & District Flower Show

Location: Strachur Memorial Hall

This year’s Strachur and District Flower Show will be held in the Memorial Hall, Strachur on Saturday 24 August 2024 from 2.00 pm. Presentation of cups and prizes will take place at 3 pm.
Entries are open to all residents in the District, competition labels (50p per label) will be available on the day. All entries should be brought to the Hall between 8.30 am and 11am on the day of the show. For details of entry classes and competition rules, please pick up a copy of the show schedule – available now from the Filling Station or Bay Cottage.
Admission fee includes refreshments - £2 for adults / £1 for children.

Could we please ask 2024 winners to return their cups in advance of the show – either drop off with Cherry at the Strachur House garden (call 07967 975007 to arrange) or bring to the hall on Friday 23 August between 6.30 pm and 8.30 pm.

Call-out for new committee members! We would love to recruit some additional volunteers to help with future events. An enthusiasm for growing things is helpful, but you don’t need to be an expert, most of us aren’t! So if you are interested in getting involved in organising next year’s show and our other annual events please get in touch by email at strachurflowershow@gmail.com, or speak to any of the current committee members at the show.

Despite the challenging year we’ve had in our gardens so far, we hope to see the tables filled with entries and we look forward to seeing you there!
